Students enrolled in this program are eligible to take up to four courses of pre-major and major coursework at 51ÊÓƵ while pursuing an associate degree at CSTCC. CState251ÊÓƵ students pay the CSTCC tuition rate to 51ÊÓƵ for the allotted four 51ÊÓƵ courses. Students taking classes at 51ÊÓƵ through the program will also pay part-time student fees per credit hour. Some courses may also incur specific charges from the respective college. Students pay for their CSTCC and 51ÊÓƵ bills separately.
The four courses must be spread out over the span of several semesters. The number of courses a student is able to take at 51ÊÓƵ in a given semester is based on earned and in-progress hours. Students with 15 earned and in-progress hours are eligible to take their first course at 51ÊÓƵ. Once students have at least 30 earned and in-progress hours, they are eligible to take a second course at 51ÊÓƵ. After 45 earned and in-progress hours, students can take their last two courses. If a student has 45 or more earned and in progress hours but has yet to take any classes at 51ÊÓƵ through the CState251ÊÓƵ program, he or she would be eligible to take two courses in the first semester of the program.
Students must never exceed the maximum of two courses at 51ÊÓƵ in any given semester through the CState251ÊÓƵ program. Students enrolled in the CState251ÊÓƵ program are eligible to take courses at 51ÊÓƵ that are not offered at CSTCC. While enrolled in 51ÊÓƵ courses through the program, students are not eligible to take courses at 51ÊÓƵ above and beyond the CState251ÊÓƵ program courses.
The pathway guides are advising tools designed to help community college students plan for transferring to 51ÊÓƵ to complete their baccalaureate degree. The pathway guides also constitute an agreement between community colleges and universities confirming that community college courses meet major preparation requirements.

The CState251ÊÓƵ Program has a simple application. Please read the instructions on applying first. If you are not yet enrolled at Cincinnati State, apply for admission to CSTCC and enroll in an Associate degree plan.
Once you are admitted to Cincinnati State, just fill out the . Note: You will need to maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA throughout the program.
When the time comes for you to transfer to 51ÊÓƵ from Cincinnati State, there are a few steps that need to be completed. Please use this checklist to ensure all steps are completed in order to facilitate a smooth transfer.
